Iterative Design and Refinement - Working through concepts

During these past few weeks of concept definition and exploration I have most definitely thought hard and long about the opportunity of what kinds of interactions and changes that augmented reality glasses can do. A lot of sketching and rough models were created during this phase in order to gain a greater understanding of the product (glasses) I am working with and the affordances that existing products have. Paper models of different frames and stems for the glasses. During initial exploration different concepts were sketched and made in order to help refine the form, size, interaction points and more. The Final Phase

A lot has changed from the last phase to this final phase. After the community consultation, it was decided that the form would need further refinement as it looked too humanoid and friendly for a conservative workplace. Result after Phase 4 Final Product Since the last phase, there were some key changes and improvements. The screen which used to show animated "eyes" that would be representative of the remote user has now changed to a screen that will show the remote user for a more personalized call. The form factor of the product has completely changed from looking like a humanoid robot to a simple raindrop-like form. The ideation process started by eliminating the arm-like feature of the robot and further inspiration from nature was researched.
